Pretty good.
Pretty scary... I would have liked to here an organ or ocarina or something start playing tho!

That's a good idea.
well....
It, like alot of your other stuff I heard, was alittle repetitive. Usually I don't mind repitition,
its just that this didn't have any variation at all really... just a few added instrument after a while.
Also, it reminded me of some music from Spiderman. Its a similiar chord progression. I suggest making more of a melody... and perhaps a key change?
Anyway this was pretty cool.
This was done for the MRAC, and every note was from the tune that was supposed to be remixed. I wasn't responsible for the chord progression or melody, just instruments, when the instruments play, and the percussion. You're right, though, I could have used key transpositions, and it is rather repetitive.
Thanks for the review, it is appreciated.
wow
That was awesome. You used the dissonances in such a way.. It really expresses the PC bullcrap that the Christmas season has become. Nice Work!
The point was to make depict the harmony of the many christmas themes...notice that there is none?
nice effect
I like the echoey stuff. Like a pirate in a cave or something. I found myself wishing a bass would come sometime though... Otherwise still a great tune.
I was tempted to put in a bass but it would have changed the mood of the song. I wanted to put in piccolo but it wouldn't have sounded as nice. Ocarina is good as a solo instrument. If i put in something else...well it wouldn't have been Ocarina Spell anymore.
pretty cool man
Ya know, one of my favorite things to here is a nice ocarina melody. Or recorder or piccolo or some high flutey thing that reminds you of pirates or leppercauhns or something... Anyway..
This was a nice diverse melody. You should harmonize it!
What's pretty cool is your recording. I'm going to make something like that, but not put it on NG. It'll be on my own page.
nice.
It certainly gave a tense feeling. However, like 'hopeful future' it failed to give the 'building' feeling. Do you realize there were wasn't even a crescendo in this piece? My main complaint with your music is still this: it is 1 layered, and 1 dimensional. There is no change in harmony or melody, no change in dynamic or atmosphere.
You say 'perhaps this song is too imaginative for you' (you would think one of your 'refined' musical tastes would be able to accept a some-what negative review with gracefully, but anyway) You may see some very imaginative things in this work, but your ability to express all of that imagination is lacking.
nope...
it doesn't do anything or go anywhere. try spicing it up or something.
no no no.
to short, to annoying,.. Gah.
lol
Made me laugh. Nothing else to say really. lol.
Good. The whole point of it was to be funny. I'm trying to make an animation for it but I don't really know how to use flash. But sooner or later I'll figure it out. Any-hoo, thanks for the review.
o yea.
I was surprised at the direction this song went in.
It had a great underground feeling to it at the beginning, and I loved that little pulse. Then when the melody came in I was like woah. Reminded me of the old SNES Indiana Jones game when he was underground in the middle east. Very cool stuff here.
