Pretty good.
This definetly sounded like a video game. I can picture mario doing alot of jumping around with this music. I gave it a 7 because I like hearing more of a melody. Thats just something to think about.
Good job though.

thanks
Very cool.
Your symphonies are dark. Sounds like they were written in an asylum. (good thing) I really like this kind of music your writing here. O and um what is that program your using to make it? I need to get a copy of it.
Sorry, I really can't say
hm..
Not bad I guess. It sounds really hard to play on the guitar. However, you did change the rhythm's, Bach wrote it triplets, you played 8 - 16ths kind of thing. Other parts sounded like you messed up the chords. I think you should have practiced it a bit more before you made the submission.
I had to change the rythem because if i would of played it the old way i couldn't of fit it on newgrounds. yeah a couple of times I messed up on some chords but this was the best track that I got. Also, I wanted to make it my own song.
Pretty good.
I like the music in general, I mean, it was really good. But I didn't really get that 'final boss' feeling.
Well, it's the image I had in my head anyway; beggars can't be choosers. Can't really get the right buildup in under a minute I suppose. But, you liked it, that is the most important thing, and thanks for leaving a review.
memories...
In my first year of playing in an orchestra (and my instrument) this was one of the songs we played. I like your rendetion of it alot. Keep up the good work.
Thanks dude. I've always loved this song. One thing I don't like about my new setup is how bad my old stuff sounds now in comparison. ;)
incredible
How do you do it Bezo?!?
I mean seriously, how do you use whatever it was to make it? I need to learn. Awesome music.
This one was actually made before I got Logic Pro Audio and my extremely expensive samples. This was composed and produced entirely in Finale 2005, which is only about $500. (opposed to Logic, which is $1200 and the samples with are well over $3000).
As for the actual creation of it, that's a lot harder to explain.
Awesome.
I loved it. Very nice stuff. Do you mind telling me how you made it?
Well, I started by writing the basic chord progressions in Finale 2005, then elaborating them around a simple melody (very simple). The underlaying runs are built usually along tuplets of decreasing size, because I love the way that it sounds. Mostly it went septuplet eighths, sextuplet eigths, quintuplet eights, and four straight eighth notes. It gives the left hand part a very expressive texture of movement while staying in strict tempo.
Then once it was to my satisfaction, I recorded it using my Old Lady sample piano in Logic Pro Audio 7.
Nice but...
It was good, but I thought it could have used a little bit more melody. Kept waiting for one but it didn't come. :/
Hmmm. I hadn't really considered that. My goal was just kinda to make it jarring. ;) The melody's in the piano.
awesome
That is a really great piece. I listen to it alot. Wish I could write like that. ;) Keep up the good work.
pretty good
hey man that was really good, but I didn't really feel like I was listening to a battle. sorry. 8/
That's true. But a lot of things happen when you turn something into an expressive piano song. It's not really meant to be a battle theme in and of itself, but it uses the theme from my battle music. That's kinda why I named it that way. In retrospect, that was probably a mistake.
