Great!

It is perfect for a space game. I could almost see it being used in Star Fox. I say almost because, the song could have done more. Maybe a soft section, or a part with a faster beat that implies trouble or something. In the future, I think you could benefit from expanding on the main musical ideas in your piece.

Thanks,

A funny story to go with this theme - I was at work when this theme popped into my head. I didn't have my voice recorder on me, and I didn't want to forget the melody, so I called my home number and hummed the melody into my answering machine. Then when I got home, it was there for me and I put the whole thing together in an hour.

I may think about expanding it in the future too.

I like it.

Nice simple melody, blended with different instruments, making different colors,.. Very nice.
Bouncy base gave it a nice feel. The string synths made it sound like wind. Nice effect!

Bad-Atom responds:

Thanks,

The funny thing about this theme is the inspiration for it. Look up a flash video called "Big Bird's Hide and Speak" and listen to the song. That's where the inspiration came from, believe it or not.

Nothing new!

Nothing new... It sounds like you worked to hard.
It was hard to listen to, to much noise all at once.

Bad-Atom responds:

Thanks for the review,

Yeah, making video game music is sort of new to me. I'm sure a thousand other people have remixed this theme, but I just wanted to see what I could do.

And since this was my first one, I spent a few days working on it. Usually the less time I spend on something, the better it turns out. What's up with that? :)

Unique.

I haven't heard anything like this on NG.
I LOVE the use of the bass choir and the bells.
The running notes in the upper strings give it a nice 'insane' effect.
This is a great audio interpetation of madness.
(btw what program do you use?)

MaestroSorrow responds:

I use Fruity Studio's, but the sounds you are hearing have little to do with the program itself. If you would like, throw me an email sometime, and i'll give you a full description ^^.

Many thanks for the review.

pretty good man

I love all the Mega Man music, and this one is one of my favorites. This was a good mix. There were a few things I felt it was lacking, however. I thought it needed more bass, more drums, and a faster tempo.
The instruments and synths were perfect. Sounded 'airy.' Very atuned to Storm Eagles character.
(Have you considered doing a mix of Spark Mandrill or Boomer Kuwangers theme?)

Weapongod30 responds:

No, I hadn't, but I guess that I might now!

Great!

I love it. Even though I can't really remember hearing this on a Kirby game... its still a great song! Really nice work man.

LimblessAvenger responds:

i appreciate that coming from you! your stuff is awesome!

I like it.

Even though its not one of my favorite songs... I still really like what you've done with it. The drums and stuff gave it more of a battle feeling. Nice job.

Anima-Theory responds:

Thanks for the good review

Not bad...

This was kind of repetitive... But somehow I did get the feel of a haunted castle. Maybe castlvania style... I guess my only objection is that it needed a better melody. (or a melody at all)

ninjamonkey responds:

thats cool. I'm not the best at making melodies but ill work on it. Be sure to rate it so it doesnt have a 0 though. Maybe in the future there shall be a castle ascent revisited with better melody?

Not bad..

I like the piano you used. (I know its a program)
As the other guy pointed out, some of the chords were wrong. Was that intentional? If it was I'm not sure I liked it. This was still pretty good though.

Klawd responds:

yes, it was intentional (my hand is way too small), and the piano isn't a program...
