How could you call that one of your own original works? That was nothing but some guy screaming kakaroto and the mortal kombat theme! And it was like 10 seconds long! Sorry dude, next time try,..real,.. music.

[Castle Ascent]

Not bad...

This was kind of repetitive... But somehow I did get the feel of a haunted castle. Maybe castlvania style... I guess my only objection is that it needed a better melody. (or a melody at all)

thats cool. I'm not the best at making melodies but ill work on it. Be sure to rate it so it doesnt have a 0 though. Maybe in the future there shall be a castle ascent revisited with better melody?

Not bad..

I like the piano you used. (I know its a program)
As the other guy pointed out, some of the chords were wrong. Was that intentional? If it was I'm not sure I liked it. This was still pretty good though.

Overture?

Na I wouldn't call this an overture. Overtures are much more exciting and louder and stuff. This one was to slow and boring. Pump it up!

yea.......i just like the word overture..............OVERTURE!!!!! ok i'll pump it up....there were supposed to be drums but something got messed up during the rendering and the drums just dissapeared

Not as good as I had hoped..

Sorry I have to judge so harshly, but snes Star Fox has some of my favorite music ever. I didn't really like this arrangement,... I didn't like the synth used for the melody, and I thought there needed to be more bass to it. Star Fox always had a nice deep bass part. Somehow in this arrangment the piece lost its intensity it had in the original.

Pretty cool.

Almost sounds like elevator music. I like the combinations of instruments alot. Nice chords too.
I'm gonna play this when I get up in the morning. :D

I do like this kind of music. I can picture maybe a dark music box? All in all I can't find a thing I don't like about this piece. Very good job.

Yeah, some of my friends said that about this. They were saying how it sounded like a horror movie or something dark, or if I had a motive behind the music. I didn't really intend it to, but it happened anyway, and it sounds cool.

[Super Mario 2: First Stage]

Again...

I like the original better. Whats going on in the middle there? Just the base line with no melody? Those base notes got kind of annoying. And the right hand needs to be in 3rds or 6ths under it to give it a complete sound. It was an interesting idea to give the coins and stuff up there, but I dont' think it works on a piano playing it at the same time as the melody. That was kind of annoying to. This is a pretty good arrangement, and I'm sure some ppl will like, but I just like the original better.

um...

I can't say I liked that rendition very much. The base line was changed to much, it left out some of the inner voices... Some places it sounded like a different song entirely. I like it better the way it was originally written.
